The Hearing & Balance Centre was established in 1994 at St Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst.

Since its beginning the centre has been committed to providing a multidisciplinary team approach to hearing and balance care. As such our professional team includes 5 audiologists, a psychologist, a neurophysiotherapist and a rehabilitation specialist. We often prescribe and fit hearing aids and devices to improve not only a patient's hearing, but also their quality of life.

It is our combined team experience that we believe allows us to provide audiological care of the highest standard.  Over the past 13 years the centre has also maintained a strict policy of independence.  Our goal is to provide clients with access to the latest technology both in terms of diagnostic audiology and by providing the latest in hearing aid technology.

In 2006 we recognised the need to expand our services by providing a local centre in Double Bay.  Our clients now have a choice of centres with the same standard of care provided at both the St Vincent's and Double Bay sites.
